About the Characters
Bridget Jones -the main character
Bridget Jones is 32, she lives in London and work as a publicist. She has eating, alcohol and nicotine disorder which she tries to stop by promising herself she'll stop smoking, use less then 14 units of alcohol a week and more, in her "new year's resolutions" and by counting alcohol units, calories and cigarettes used every day. Although she is very self-aware she has problems with self-discipline and she hates when other people aware to her disadvantages. Her greatest fear is to end up alone and be found only three weeks later, so all the time she does everything (stupid things mostly) to find a man.
She spends a lot of time with her friends - Jud, Sharon and Tom. Usually they have dinners together in which they talk about their problems and give each other useful advices.
